Tongchuan PV project
The Tongchuan photovoltaic power generation technology leading base - PV + Loess Plateau Ecological Restoration Project has recently been included in the list of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Good Practices.
“The Loess Plateau is a significant component of the cultural cradle of the Chinese nation. Photovoltaic power plants hold great historical significance to the ecological restoration of the Loess Plateau. It generate numerous of jobs that help alleviate local poverty. Moreover, the innovation most worthy of scaling-up in the project is the development of a preliminary prototype of PV + Loess Plateau achieved by constructing an agricultural system with digital facilities in the greenhouse,” as noted by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs in the cases published on the organization's website.
