CTG is committed to green development and actively building a clean, low-carbon, and highly efficient energy system. This proactively responds to new global climate change trends and requirements, supporting sustainable economic and social development. CTG has long dedicated itself to developing clean energy sources like hydropower, wind, and solar. In 2022, it contributed over 360 billion kWh of clean energy to society, striving to help China achieve its goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.

The World’s Largest Clean Energy Corridor
The world’s largest clean energy corridor comprises six of CTG’s hydropower projects. Four of them—Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu, and Xiangjiaba—are located on the Jinsha River, the upper section of the Yangtze River, while the other two—Three Gorges and Gezhouba—are on the middle section of the Yangtze River.
The world’s largest clean energy corridor, with a total installed capacity of 71.695 GW, is estimated to generate 300 TWh of electricity every year, reducing coal consumption by 90 million tonnes and carbon emissions by 248 million tonnes.
